First impressions count a lot in property marketing. You get the most views on your listing in the first week, so standing out amongst the other properties on the market is really important! Let's jump into the 4walls insights:
Clutter: A cluttered and disorganised home can make it look cheap and unkept. Excessive personal items, unorganised storage, or poorly arranged furniture can give the impression of a lack of care and attention to detail. Put anything that isn’t necessary in the cupboard, shed or out of the way
Curtains & Windows: Make sure all the curtains, blinds and privacy screens are drawn. This is important as it lets light into the house increasing the quality of the photos. In addition cleaning the windows inside and out has a magical effect by increasing the light into the house and making the place look clean and fresh
Kerb Appeal: Think about your kerb appeal. Paint the front door, sweep up, wash the pathway & windows, hide the bins, cut the grass.
Flowers: By adding fresh flowers to your home, you introduce a touch of elegance and natural beauty. Flowers can brighten up a space, adding colour and fragrance, which can create a sense of luxury and refinement. Eucalyptus plants are great as they last a long time and give off a beautiful smell at the same time.
Rolled Towels: Rolled towels provide a sense of sophistication and attention to detail. Displaying neatly rolled towels in your bathrooms or bedrooms gives the impression of a well-maintained and high-end environment, similar to what you might find in upscale hotels or spas.
Lighting: Choose your lighting carefully. It has the power to transform a room from dull to bright, from textured to plain. You should always aim to show off your house during the day, so people can see it in natural light. We advise using lamps in each room to add additional texture where needed. Overhead lights often don’t add the best colour to the house, unless you have a dimmer option in which case you can set the light to fit the room. Well-designed lighting can add depth, highlight architectural features and create a luxurious feel.
These small things can make a massive difference to your listing, increasing your likeliness of a sale at the listing price. Reach out to the team if you have any questions.
